9/19 Questioning Maps

  • show your understanding of Google tips.

Why?
  • To develop strategies to more efficiently find information on the web.
  • To develop strategies to better answer your questions.

1  TAke 20 minutes to finish the following from last week.
Create one of the following (if you started this yesterday, continue with that one which shares your five most important tips, what they do, and original examples that show how they work (make sure you test them):       20 minutes
  • Google Drawing - in Drive, click NEW, drawing
  • Canva Blog Graphic - Go to the Chrome Webstore to install the app
  • Google Slides
Make sure you check spelling and grammar. Make sure it is well organized and uses color with a purpose.

3. In your scrap paper Doc follow  The Rules for Producing Questions (from http://rightquestion.org/), focusing on maps:       10 minutes
  • Ask/write as many questions as you can
  • Do not stop to discuss, judge, or answer any questions - don't ask whether or not it is a good enough question
  • Write down every question exactly as it is stated - don't worry about wording
  • Change any statement into a question
4. With someone near you, help one another identify each questions as closed or open.       5 minutes

5. Whole class share.        10 minutes

6.  Complete the Google A Day challenge.
