    • To build your sense of empowerment.

    1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

    2.  Review your main ideas with your group from yesterday.            2 minutes

    3.  Review the "sustainable development" Frayer that you created last week.          2 minutes

    4. Watch the following video and think about why the UN Sustainable Development Goals would be important to attain:          7 minutes


    5.  Use the following steps of Rules for Producing Questions about the topic sustainable development, and put your questions into the Padlet linked in Google Classroom:           5 minutes
    • Ask/write as many questions as you can
    • Do not stop to discuss, judge, or answer any questions - don't ask whether or not it is a good enough question
    • Write down every question exactly as it is stated - don't worry about wording
    • Change any statement into a question

    6.  Wait for class share.           7 minutes

    7. Video discussion & brainstorm.           15 minutes
