    • Secret ballots are used in the United States to cast votes.
    • Votes are anonymous to protect citizens from being intimidated, harmed, or excluded.
    • Citizens are not obligated to share how they vote with anyone and should not feel pressured to do so.

    • What rules / guidelines / expectations should there be when having discussions?
