11/17 UN Sustainable Development Goals

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day (posted in the classroom).



Today in class you will 
  • examine the UN sustainable development goals.
  • brainstorm solutions to problems.

    Why?
    • To begin understanding the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
    • To build your sense of empowerment.
    1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

    2.  B Period: Please wait. You need to follow yesterday's directions.           25 minutes

    3.  Go to Google Classroom and complete the UN Sustainable Development Goal assignment. If you already turned it in yesterday, unsubmit, look at my comments, and revise.           30 minutes

    4.  Which UN SDG do you think is the most important to achieve? Look at the list at the bottom of the link here.  Jot your answer in your scrap paper and jot at least three reasons why.          5 minutes

    5.  Why is it important to achieve the UN SDG? Watch the video below again.  Jot your answer in your scrap paper and jot at least three reasons why.         8 minutes
