4/12 Synthesizing Information

Whenever you need help, please ask for it.
Please write your homework in your assignment book.
Please review the goal and agenda for the day (posted in the classroom).


Today in class you will 
  • analyze how physical features, climate, and natural resources impact people.
  • use critical reading skills to identify relevant information.
  • identify main ideas
Why?
  • To develop your understanding of human and physical geography.
  • To develop your critical thinking.
  • To practice your reading skills.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

2.  Identify at least five main ideas about your two different topics.          10 minutes

3. Check in with Mr. d'E.           3 minutes

4.  Share your main ideas with someone else who has done the same topics.          8 minutes

5.  Go to Google Classroom, review the directions there, and ask for clarification.  Then, follow those directions.
