2/14 UN Sustainable Development Goals

Today in class you will
  • Identify some of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Reflect on which you might want to promote and work to achieve.
Why?
  • To become empowered to change the world for the better.
DIRECTIONS
If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting or Google A Day. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute
2. UN SDG Breakout Box - work together as a team to solve the clues.         45 minutes        


3. Explore the UN Sustainable Development Goals (The Global Goals). Visit this link, click on different goals, and scroll down to see the goal's targets.         15 minutes        








4.  Reflect: Go to Google Classroom and respond to the question there.         5 minutes

2. REad through your classmates responses from yesterday in Google Classroom.         5 minutes        


3. Wait for whole class discussion      10 minutes        


4. Complete the "sandwich" in Google Classroom.      25 minutes
