If you are ever waiting for a direction, please use PlaceSpotting , Google A Day, or this Google Maps Scavenger Hunt or create a meme for one of our social studies topics from the year. (Don't search for the question or use a Google A Day answer site.)
1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. Finish writing questions on big paper. 5 minutes
3. Wait for Mr.d'E. Gallery walk & additions 20 minutes
4. Wait for whole class discussion. 10 minutes
5. Visit the site linked here. Work with your question group. In your scrap paper doc (date and respond at the top of the doc)..... 15 minutes

- Identify questions as closed or open
- Identify the value for each question
- Change closed questions to open questions and one open question to a closed question
- Identify the group's three most important questions - jot on big paper
