DIRECTIONS
1. Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above). 1 minute
2. Prior to vacation you saved a PDF with a rubric and feedback about your argument writing to your social studies folder from an email I sent you. Open that PDF now and review the rubric and feedback. 5 minutes
3. Based on the rubric and feedback about the writing only (as opposed to the content), overall how would you assess your writing: BEGINNING PROGRESSING PROFICIENT/EXPECTED EXCEEDS EXPECTATION. 5 minutes
4. Open your argument writing in Google Classroom, then, at the top - above the argument writing, list the 3-5 most critical things you could do to improve the writing. (Directions do not say to rewrite to revise the writing.) 15 minutes
5. Find answers from the original sources (the two websites and Doc in your social studies folder you used to create your sketchnote, summary, and graphic organizer) and revise the answers. A check mark to the left where the number is means it is correct. A check mark within the answer means what is checked is correct. #3 has two different correct answers. Even if you have it marked as correct, find and add the second correct answer. 15 minutes
6. Go over the correct answers with the teacher 5 minutes
7. By yourself, complete stations around the room that you did not yet complete when you were trying to find Gee.
