  • draw conclusions about Australia's ancient history from primary sources

  • To understand how evidence supports a claim

DIRECTIONS    If you are waiting at any point, work on any known sidequests.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2. With someone near you, review and discuss the ancient Australia artifact graphic organizer from last class.       5 MINUTES

3.  With someone near you, discuss the following:  Overall, all together, in general, what do the artifacts you examined tell you about the Ancient Aborigines?

4.  Wait for whole class:  FlipGrid: Using evidence, explain what artifacts tell us about Ancient Aborigines.     30 MINUTES
