1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.    Continue work from last class:  Cause --> Event -->  Impact         Confucianism         10 minutes .

3.    Whole class discussion        10 minutes 

4.   Identify the three most important ideas about each of the following and write in your scrap paper document.             15 minutes

5.   Whole class sharing             5 minutes 

6.   Review the summaries you have written in the past.
