Today we were able to get on to a large floor map of Massachusetts. Students learned about some of Massachusetts' geography: river systems, mountain ranges, fresh water sources, etc.
They also got to see a large world map with a south oriented projection.
Students also were able to venture into the EarthView Globe where they explored plate tectonics, river systems, mountain ranges, etc. You can visit this link for more information about the globe: http://bsu-earthview.blogspot.com/
This blog gives students a starting point and overview of what we will do in class. It also allows parents a glimpse into my classroom so they have a sense of what their children are doing in class on a day-to-day basis. It is my hope that parents will gain greater insight and the information will inspire greater conversation about class at home.
NOTE: Links to Google Classroom, Google Docs, or other Google Apps for Education will require students to log in to their school account.
NOTE: Due to the drop period in our schedule, there are times that your student might be working on a previous day's agenda. That will be noted at the top of the post.
