1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).   1 minute

2.  Interact with your Holocaust FAQ by underlining key ideas and writing notes in the margin (important ideas, personal reactions, connections to themes, questions, etc.)            15 minutes

3.  Wait for whole class discussion.              10 minutes

4. Create additional thematic statements with evidence.              10 minutes

5. Wait for whole class sharing.              10 minutes
