DIRECTIONS    If you are waiting at any point, work with the Waiting Activities listed in the right-hand column of this page.

1.  Discuss with someone near you what you will be doing in class today and why (see above).       1 minute

2.    Whole Class:   New Year Video          5 minutes

3.    In Google Classroom, if you need or want to add to what you put into Lessons and Connections in Google Classroom from before the break.          5 minutes

4.     Research (find information about) one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World OR one of the New Wonders of the World. (underlined phrases are your search terms)  Find a few interesting things about the wonder.          15 minutes

4.    Find an image of the wonder and place it in a slide or drawing.          5 minutes

5.     See Mr. d'E         2 minutes

6.   Add a speech bubble with at least two sentences that explain why you think this wonder is interesting.
